Hi, I’m Celyn Lazenby, owner and founder of The Strength Hub Ammanford. I’m a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Sports Management graduate, and certified spin instructor and sports massage therapist, with over seven years of experience in the fitness industry.
I created The Strength Hub to be more than just a gym. Since opening in March 2025, it’s become a specially designed space where people of all abilities feel welcome, supported, and motivated to reach their goals. My mission has always been to help others build strength, confidence and lasting healthy habits through expert coaching and genuine community.
At The Strength Hub, you’ll find everything you need to succeed, from personal training, group coaching and dedicated strength sessions to sport specific training and open gym access. Our timetable includes classes designed for every stage of life, including postpartum Mami and Babi fitness, Kids FIT sessions, Over 55s strength and wellness and hybrid training programs that bring variety and progression to your training.
We offer flexible membership and pay-as-you-go options, so whether you want full access or prefer to drop in for classes, there’s something to suit every schedule and lifestyle.
This is more than a place to train, it’s a community built on support, dedication, and progress. Every member is part of something bigger, working together to feel fitter, stronger and happier.
My Fitness Journey
My passion for health and fitness is both professional and personal. As a former national-level rugby player for Wales, I’ve experienced firsthand how exercise can transform both body and mind. During my teenage years, fitness became a key part of my recovery from an eating disorder, a journey that taught me the true power of movement, resilience, and self-belief.
